BEIJING, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- China on Thursday denounced the U.S. suppression and containment of Chinese high-tech firms by abusing state power.

China opposes unilateral actions that will complicate the situation, and calls on relevant parties to exercise restraint and act prudently.
